THE CAST OF THE  ROCKY HORROR SHOW

Tucker Nevel (Groom/Phantom): This is Tucker's second ISM show and he wants to thank his family for all of the support. He also thinks that ISM is the best group of people ever, obviously. Sit back, relax, and get ready for Rocky Horror!

 

Jessica Shryock (Janet Weiss): is a junior studying advertising with a minor in atmospheric sciences. She hasn't been in a musical since high school and couldn't be happier to be back on stage. When not rehearsing with this fantastic cast, she spends most of her time practicing, performing, and coaching improv. She would like to give a special shout out to her team DeBono (Free monday shows @ 8 in the union!) for being so flexible and understanding with scheduling. She hopes you all enjoy the show!

 

Jon Faw (Priest/Phantom): is a Freshman in the history department. This is Jon's first musical! Jon hopes to add more to his credentials, but he feels that he is starting out working with a great cast and crew!

 

David Naber (Eddie): A sophomore double-majoring in Computer Science and Cinema Studies, this is David's third production with ISM. His favorite roles include Orin the Sadistic Dentist (Little Shop of Horrors), Robbie Hart (The Wedding Singer), and El Gallo (The Fantasticks), for which he won the Monroe Actors Stage Company Award for Best Actor in a Leading Role. He will soon be appearing as Roger in IUB's production of RENT. Many thanks to his friends, family, and the wonderful cast around him!

 

Isiah Asplund (Rocky): Isiah has always been a dancer before anything else. He has pursued his training In a competition studio for 9 years before joining the UIUC dance program. He is very excited and grateful to be able to participate in this show.

 

Justine Izewski (Bride/Phantom): is a freshman in Choral Music Education. This is her first show with ISM. Previously, she has been involved with Musical Theater at her high school and with Fox Valley Repertory Theater in St. Charles. She is excited to be part of this cast and hopes to be part of ISM's future shows.

 

John Lattanzi (Phantom): is a freshman engineering major and this is his second show with ISM. Along with being in The Wedding Singer, he has also been involved in theatre since he was a freshman in high school and is really happy to be able to continue with his passion in college. Enjoy the show!

 

Delaney Sterling (Phantom): A freshman studying Choral Music Education, is beyond excited to be joining the cast of Rocky Horror in her second show with ISM. Previous credits include Marian Paroo in Edge of the Wood Theatre’s The Music Man, and Drood in St. Ignatius College Prep’s The Mystery of Edwin Drood. Delaney would like to especially thank the board and staff for all their hard work, and her parents for their endless support.

 

Brandon Saposnik (Riff Raff) is a junior in chemical engineering at the University of Illinois. Brandon is thrilled to be a part of his third consecutive ISM production. Past ISM credits include The Wedding Singer (George) and Little Shop of Horrors (Ensemble). Select other roles include The Sparrow (Mark Gilbert), West Side Story (Big Deal), and Les Miserables (Bishop of Digne/Army Officer/Student).

 

Maggie Boland (Phantom/ensemble member): is a freshman Speech and Hearing Science student here at the U of I. This is Maggie's first production with Illini Student Musicals and she could not be happier to be in a show with such a talented cast and staff performing one of her favorite musicals. She would love to thank her support system of family and friends who have always been incredibly supportive, especially Delaney Sterling, who convinced her to take a chance and do the "Time Warp Again."

 

Shawn Kimbrel (Phantom): is delighted to make his debut with ISM with such a great production! He is currently a freshman studying Music at the U of I and hopes to one day teach! He would like to thank his family and all of his new ISM friends for their support, especially Delaney and Rhino! Enjoy the show!

 

Alicia Schneider (Magenta): is a graduate student in Agricultural Education at the U of I and has her bachelor's degree in Animal Science. This is her first show with ISM and she is ecstatic to be part of the "Rocky Horror" cast. Alicia has also been involved in the IUB production of "Chicago" as Velma Kelly's understudy and the ensemble. Her first experience on stage was in "You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown," where she played her first role as Lucy. Alicia hopes that tonight's performance will "thrill you and chill you" as much as humanly… or non-humanly possible!

 

 

Ashley Scott (Dance Captain, Phantom, Corporate Relations Officer): is a Senior in Cultural Anthropology and Archaeology at the University of Illinois. This is her eighth college performance. Some ensemble performances have been for "Seussical: The Musical", "The Drowsy Chaperone" and "Little Shop of Horror". She was most recently seen on stage as the Tina Turner Impersonator in "The Wedding Singer" this past fall.

 

Tucker DeBolt (Phantom): is so excited to be a part of Rocky Horror, his first ISM production! He is having a blast! He is currently a freshman studying Math and CS through the college of LAS. He would like to thank his friends and family for their support, especially his roomie to be, Gibbs! Enjoy the show!!

 

Brian Lynch (Dr. Frank’N’Furter) is a freshman at UIUC majoring in dance. New to ISM, he is thrilled to be working with such a fun and welcoming group of people. Always happy to extend beyond his comfort zone, he feels this role has been an amazing adventure. In the future he hopes to be a commercial or company dancer and later become a choreographer. Though this is his first show with ISM, he hopes it to be the first of many!

 

Deepa Suneel (Narrator): is a junior speech and hearing science major at U of I. She is so excited to be back with Illini Student Musicals as a part of the Rocky Horror Show! Her previous credits with ISM include Little Shop of Horrors and The Wedding Singer. Deepa is also a campus tour guide, participates in research, and a member of Pi Beta Phi sorority. She would like to thank her friends and family for being the most supportive and always encouraging her! Enjoy the show!*Shout out to Room 11

 

Tommy Orr (Dr. Scott, Photographer, Phantom): is a freshman in Chemical engineering and has been a part of many different productions in the past. These include Guys and Dolls, Beauty and the Beast, and It's a Wonderful Life. Tommy is also a member of the Campus Band and the Marching Illini here at U of I. This is Tommy's first production with ISM and is ecstatic to be able to play Dr. Scott. He wishes all of his fellow cast members to break a leg!

 

Allison Wall (Dance Captain, Phantom): is a senior studying English and Communication. This is her second ISM production, having appeared in last semester's The Wedding Singer. She would like to thank the cast and staff for making this experience amazing, especially Nisha, Deepa, and Alexis. Allison would also like to thank her friends and family for their continued love and support.

 

Nick Humbles (Brad Majors): is a sophomore studying Computer Science at the University of Illinois. Past performances include Illini Student Musicals' productions of The Wedding Singer, Little Shop of Horrors, and The Drowsy Chaperone. Nick would like to commend the staff as well as his fellow cast members for putting so much passion, energy, and hard work into this show. He would also like to thank his family and friends for their love and unending support.

 

Sarah Sensenbrenner (Phantom): is very excited to be in her third ISM show, The Rocky Horror Show! She is a sophomore studying elementary education. After having such great experiences in Little Shop of Horrors and The Wedding Singer, she is so grateful to be a part of ISM once again. Sarah would like to thank her family and friends for their encouragement, and her ISM family for making every day in this process fun! She hopes that you enjoy the show and get ready to do the Time Warp!

 

Carly Graham (Usherette): is a junior studying psychology and philosophy. Previous ISM credits include The Drowsy Chaperone, Little Shop of Horrors. and The Wedding Singer. She will serve on the 2014-2015 ISM Board of Directors as President. She hopes you enjoy the show!

 

Sean Tierney (Phantom): is so thrilled to be in the Rocky Horror Show with all of these phenomenal people. Sean will be graduating in May with a BFA in Sculpture. Sean’s been in every ISM show so far: The Wedding Singer (Sammy), Little Shop of Horrors (Ensemble), and The Drowsy Chaperone (Gangster), and he was also in IUB’s production of Chicago (Sgt. Fogharty, Jury). He hopes you have a wild time tonight! Enjoy!

 

Alexis DawTyne (Columbia): is pleased as punch to return to the stage with Illini Student Musical's production of Rocky Horror. She could not be any more tickled to partake in such an experience. Alexis is pursuing a BFA in Acting here at U of I and is involved with Cru on campus. She would like to thank Jesus for being the bee's knees, the padres for supporting even the raunchiest of things, chap stick for obvious reasons, her roommates for putting up with a messy Condo, her friends for group messages, and coffee for everything else. 1Cor 10:31
