Play a Role
We are in the midst of our 9th season of providing musical theatre to the campus of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign during a challenging economic time. In addition to rent for the theater itself, construction space, and other ongoing expenses, each production involves royalties, costumes, sets, lighting, sound, stipends for instrumentalists, and script costs, to name a few. A large-scale musicals cost tens of thousands of dollars. Fortunately, we are able to keep our ticket prices down with the help of dedicated volunteers, sponsors, and a loyal membership base. This support enables us to maintain a high level of excellence we have offered in our first few seasons, and in order to keep the show going, we could use help from you.

In order to put on a show of the caliber that we all know is possible, we are in need of your support. Donating to ISM is a wonderful opportunity to show your support to the arts and the students who are involved. Proceeds will directly benefit our semesterly production and the company as a whole. ISM is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization making your donations tax deductible under section 170 of the federal tax code.

In addition to donating online, checks can be made payable to “Illini Student Musicals” and can be given to any member directly or mailed to Illini Student Musicals 284 Illini Union 1401 W. Green St. Urbana, IL 61801.
ADVERTISE
Advertising with ISM will expose your company to a diverse group of audience members. Our shows currently average 1200 patrons. The target audience for our productions ranges from University students to theatre goers living in the Champaign-Urbana area. The audience also includes UIUC Staff & Faculty and those from the Greater Chicagoland Community. Support from these communities has enabled us to maintain the high level of excellence we strive for each semester. We are grateful for the continued loyalty from these groups and hopeful for the success of future shows due to their support.
